Brinta is a Registered Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work, specializing in mental health. With over 15 years of clinical experience, She has had the privilege of supporting diverse populations — including children, women, youth, adults, and seniors — through counseling and therapeutic interventions that foster mental well-being and personal growth.
In her early career in Kerala, India she worked as an ICDS Supervisor for seven years, gaining extensive experience in addressing teen, women’s, and seniors’ issues. These experiences deepened her understanding of the complex social and emotional dynamics across the lifespan.
In Canada, she had continued her commitment to mental health through her work with adults and seniors facing mental health and addiction challenges. She currently serves as an Inpatient Mental Health Social Worker at Centenary Hospital, Scarborough, Ontario, where she provides psychosocial assessments and therapeutic counseling as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Arun Balakrishnan is a Social Worker with more than sixteen years of combined experience in the field of mental health counselling, mental health case management , community resource navigation , child welfare and parenting, crisis intervention and managed and substance use.
Arun is an alumni of Loyola college Chennai , India where he has done his Master of Arts in Social Work. Arun is also an Alumni of Toronto Metropolitan University ( formerly Ryerson university , Toronto Canada ) where he has graduated in the Canadian Social Work practices.
Currently working in the filed of child protection in Ontario , Canada , Arun comes with a deeper understanding of how factors like child hood experiences, family dynamics , trauma and relationships can impact and impair our day to day life – which we constantly working to stabilize.
Apart from his professional involvement, he is an Executive member of the Malayali Association of social workers in Ontario ( MASWO) and also the founding member of Spark Foundation, an agency committed to contributing in the field of education. He also manage community pages like Mission found safe , a page to look for missing loved ones and Fair play, which focused on justice. Arun is also story writer , life time student of spirituality , movie enthusiast, travel freak and community volunteer for mental health and substance use.
